Write a paper of about 500 words addressing the following:
Research academic sources to select a case study on physician-assisted suicide or palliative or terminal sedation. Analyze the case study, paying particular attention to the ethical questions, the conditions being treated, and the bases on which the writers’ evaluations of the outcomes are founded.
Research academic sources to find at least one proponent of applying pro-life principles to natural death, possibly in addition to the usual emphasis on life beginning at conception.
Compare the case study and the pro-life proponent’s arguments. Present your findings and conclusions regarding the circumstances under which a proactive effort to hasten death or end life should be permissible, would be ethical, or could be condoned.
