· Propose one or more alternative research methods that could have addressed the same research question while minimizing ethical concerns. Consider approaches such as observational research, voluntary participation, surveys, or experimental designs using informed consent.
· Compare the advantages and disadvantages of your proposed approach with the original study design.
Reflection
· Reflect on how you would feel if you discovered that you had unknowingly participated in the Facebook study.
· Explain how this case has influenced your understanding of ethical decision-making in sociological research and why ethical standards are essential for maintaining public trust in research.
