Instructions: 1. Make a 2-minute read speech about how you identify yourself. Refer to the Lesson 5 presentation. Focus your speech on one identity that probably others misunderstand you as who you are (gender, age, race, nationality, beliefs, etc.). 2. Introduce your speech with the line “I am (your name) and I am a/an (your identity). Provide personal definition of that identity. 3. Develop your ideas by talking about the challenges you experience carrying or presenting that identity to others, talk about your aspirations and your distinct worldviews identifying yourself as such, and/or emphasize on what you makes you unique as an individual when you communicate with others relative to that identity. 4. Conclude your speech an appeal, challenge or recommendation to promote understanding across cultural identities. 5. There is no visuals or slides required for this activity. You are expected to engage the audience in listening to you through your online presence, voice and eye contact and use of appropriate gestures. Have your cams ready.
