This is because each function of our brain consists of groups of neurons working together. It follows that consciousness is just groups of neurons working together. 3. The mayor says we need to sell the land at the edge of town to build a new road. But the mayor owns the land and will make a lot of money from the sale. So obviously nothing the mayor says about this issue should be taken seriously. 4. Children need to grow up in a home with a father and a mother to develop a secure sense of attachment.
