Optional DQ – Reliable Sources
NOTE: Each week I will post “Optional DQ’s”. These are not replacements for the DQ1 or DQ2 questions you must answer each week. I post them to offer a fresh perspective on the learning objective for the week and to help you with some diverse posting options for class participation 🙂 As long as your responses are SUBTSTANTIVE, they will count toward your participation each week!
Hi Class!
The internet saves us time by not having to physically go to the library to locate information within the guidelines of library hours. However, the internet also poses challenges in regards to how to determine what is credible and reliable information to use. Unless taught the proper way, some students may find it difficult to evaluate the credibility of sources on the internet. We will learn some guidelines next week regarding evaluating sources. Class, what is your current method of determining accuracy and reliability of sources?
to be answered in the first person point of view. PLEASE!!
