Do you think that it was appropriate for the U.S. to become an “International Police Power” to stop “chronic wrongdoing,” as Theodore Roosevelt wanted?   Should any country be allowed to self-govern, even if it’s unstable?  Which of the Progressive-era reform movements do you feel were the most successful or far-reaching?  Which would you have been likely to become involved with?
