This is a 38-year-old female that states approximately 2 days ago she woke up with weakness in her right leg and no feeling below her knee. The patient states she is able to wiggle her toes, but not able to bear weight to use her leg. She states she can feel essentially nothing below her knee. Patient endorses that 1 week ago she had been seen in the emergency department with bronchitis and has had no issues since, she lives with her father and stepmother. They have been assisting her with this weakness. The patient endorses having an aunt that had rheumatoid arthritis all of her life, but no other autoimmune disorders known in her family. Patient states that she has very little pain while at rest, but her painly increases when she tries to move her right leg. In the emergensy department MRI of the lumbar spine was performed which found subcutaneous and deep tissue as well as intramuscular edema over the right iliac bone involving the right illac and psoas muscle. Patient was also noted to have a significantly elevated CPK and creatinine level. PMH: Anxiety/depression, history of drug use Surgical history: Left ankle surgery 2009, 1995 surgery
