Currently taking medications Metformin 500mg bd, Lantus 18 units mane, Trusopt 20mg/ml Rt eye, sertraline 100mg Daily and PRN medications Movicol mane for constipation. 1. Does the client need metformin after taking lantus first thing in the morning? 2. When one should take metformin with food or before food? 3. What if the client refuses sertraline? How would you explain the importance of this medication as an Enrolled Nurse?
