Article Review Assignment Instructions

1. You will write a review of an article related to a topic within the early childhood education field. Topics may include- play, developmentally appropriate activities, nature / outdoor play, music, art, single parents, societal changes and how this impacts children, young children with special needs, etc.
2. The article must be at least one full page.
3. Select an article from a reliable source. Make sure that the article is about Early Childhood Education from infancy to third grade. If you are unsure whether your article is appropriate, send a link of it for me to review before you complete the assignment.

3. Read the article and review. Your article review should include the following elements:
   1. Sum up the article in your own words- what is it about, who is the intended audience (parents, teachers, etc.), and what are the main points.
   2. Your reflection – did you find the article helpful/useful? How will you use the information you learned in the article as a teacher (now or in the future)?
