- Part I:
As you approach the middle of your third week at Pearl Incorporated, you are starting to get a feel for daily operations. You discover there is adversity on the team due to some team member's knowledge base. After some research, it appears the previous CEO picked his favorite personnel and provided continuous training. His decision to not provide training to all team members created animosity among the entire team as a whole.You understand that all employees should be provided with the same opportunities. You are an expert in Knowledge Management. Create a plan to include the following:
- Define the concepts of Knowledge Management
- Explain how Knowledge Management can benefit an organization
- Address how not providing all employees the same opportunities can affect a department
- Draft a plan to improve team cohesion and provide employees the same opportunities
- Explore how knowledge management can tie into processes and training
- Your document should be created using Microsoft Word that is 7-10 pages in length and includes a title page and reference page.
Part II
After you have developed your plan, create a PowerPoint presentation for your staff. Address the changes that will occur going forwarded and how Knowledge Management will play an important role.Include the following:
- Knowledge Management Concepts
- Benefits of utilizing Knowledge Management
- The importance of sharing information among team members
- Ideas on Group Training sessions
