For this learning activity, you will create a comprehensive training module for your human services office that will educate employees on a specific aspect of the NOHS ethical standards under Respect for Colleagues or Respect for the Profession. Select one of the following topics:

· Ethical responsibilities in professional relationships (standards 18-21)

· Ethical responsibilities in advocacy and public policy (standards 25-28)

· Ethical responsibilities in technology and social media (standards 29-33)

You will conduct thorough research on your chosen topic to ensure you have a deep understanding of ethical standards and their practical applications. Then, develop the content for your training module, including real-world examples, case studies, and/or best practices to illustrate key points.

Example outline of content:

· Title slide (does not count toward your 10-slide minimum)

· Introduce the topic

· Provide detailed information on the chosen ethical standards, including definitions, explanations, and examples

· Provide a case study, scenario, or similar example that illustrates the ethical dilemmas and appropriate responses

· Explain guidelines and best practices for adhering to the ethical standards in a professional setting

· Include references (does not count toward your 10-slide minimum)

The requirements for this learning activity will be a visually pleasing 10-slide PowerPoint, a written transcript of the training, and a voiceover recording in the PowerPoint slide deck. You can refer to the Writing Center’s How to Make a PowerPoint Presentation Links to an external site. . Additionally, you must use at least three sources for this training.

Recording in PowerPoint:

· Open the slide you want to start recording from.

· Near the upper right corner of the PowerPoint window, select Record.

· Choose from two options

· When you’re ready, select the round, red Record button, wait for the countdown, and then start speaking.

· To record from a specific slide, go to it, and then select Record.
