Week-4 Laboratory Practicum
Consider a hypothetical small business scenario specialised in Multimedia production. It currently has approximately 60-70 workers working in 5 departments. The company has decided to redevelop the company existing Network.
a. Discuss possible business and technical goals the company want to achieve;
b. Discuss the requirement engineering (analysis of user requirements for the company) considering network functional, non-functional and application requirements.
c. Identify different network users (communities), their applications and network capacity requirement.
d. Define the company’s network requirements and organise them into mandatory and desirable requirements;
Discuss logical design and draw a logical network design diagram for the proposed network.
