Patient is M.M 16 year male coming in with a cough that does not go away.

Has had a cough for 3 days. Worse at night. No fever, the last fever was 2 days ago. Does not complain of anything else beside of a cough.

Has been taking OTC medication for the cough but does not seem to work.

Allergic to penicillin.

Lives at home with mom, dad, and brother.

Brother has asthma.
