Please have your poster printed in color onto a 24” x 36” size poster. The poster should be printed directly onto a foam board or you will need to attach your poster to a foam board after it is printed. The poster must be able to stand on its own or be supported against a wall.

Many companies (local & online) offer this service. Bring your poster to class on the designated day. We will set up all the posters in the main entryway. All posters will remain visible for all students, KU staff, and administration to view & grade/vote on.

Utilize the poster presentation rubric to develop your poster. The rubric outlines how you will be graded. Each topic will be unique and have a different significance to the practice of anesthesia. The poster should help the audience understand the importance and relevance of the anesthesia topic/tool/technique.

The KU poster presentation template is a guide to completing the poster. It has a general layout (with appropriate font sizes) and topic areas. These topic areas can be altered to fit the individual project but these are typical areas that need to be addressed to allow the audience to understand the topic.
