Your paper should include a complete literature review which provides the theoretical and empirical justification for the proposed project/policy recommendations. Your proposal is a 15-20 page paper (excluding title page and references) describing a program/intervention/policy issue. You will choose a topic early in the semester that will address STEM or health. This paper is expected to tie together all core components of the course: philosophy of science and critical perspectives; psycho-social and environmental determinants of health; etc. Each section below should be a subheading, as described in APA style. All students will present their grant proposals on the last two days of class. Each presentation will be six to eight minutes.
