Your paper should include a complete literature review which provides the theoretical and empirical justification for the proposed project/policy recommendations. Your proposal is a 15-20 page paper (excluding title page and references) describing a program/intervention/policy issue. You will choose a topic early in the semester that will address STEM or health. This paper is expected to tie together all core components of the course: philosophy of science and critical perspectives; psycho-social and environmental determinants of health; etc. Each section below should be a subheading, as described in APA style. All students will present their grant proposals on the last two days of class. Each presentation will be six to eight minutes. It should include all the major subheadings of your paper, as well as additional slide(s) that describe your writing approach to your literature review.
