Definition of classroom management- “Classroom management consists of the practices and procedures a teacher uses to maintain the environment in which instruction and learning can take place.”
This portion of the workshop will have you virtually seated in a primary grade classroom making observations of classroom management practices. During the observation take careful notes of what each component of the learning equation is doing during the observation (what the teacher is doing + what the students are doing + how the observation relates to the definition).

3) List 10 classroom management strategies evident in the video?
4) For each strategy listed in question #3 write down what the teacher is doing? (List 1 way for each strategy)
5) For each strategy listed in question #3 write down what the student is doing? (List 1 way for each strategy)
6) For each strategy list how the classroom management strategy observed in the video relates to the definition above? (List 1 way for each strategy)
