The aim of Element 7.1.3 of the NQS is to ensure that individuals who begin work at the service have a clear understanding of their role, responsibilities, and the expectations for their performance.
Describe two (2) service procedure or work practice that you can use to ensure that employees in your service have a clear understanding of their role, responsibilities, and the expectations for their performance.
Describe two(2) processes that are in place in service to monitor employee performance in relation to their role, responsibilities and expected performance standards for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the children.
For each of the following responsibilities directly related to children’s health, safety and wellbeing, explain how educators in service work as a team (communicate, assign roles, etc.) to ensure practices are performed to the expected standards.
