Each student will prepare an educational pamphlet on one of the newly prescribed medications in the following scenarios and then record themselves educating a mock client on the information included in the pamphlet. Scenarios Mr. Smith is a 40-year-old male who has been evaluated for epigastric pain. His primary care provider has started him on an anti-ulcer medication. Ms. Garcia is a 53-year-old female being treated for breast cancer. Her oncologist has prescribed her medication to help with pain control. Mr. Jackson is a 40-year-old male who has been evaluated for asthma. His primary care provider has started him on a long-acting inhaled corticosteroid. Jerome is a 17-year-old male who has a left lower lobe pneumonia and has been started on oral antibiotics by his primary healthcare provider.
