Following a recent Supreme Court case decision, the issue of abortion is more heightened than ever. Over the past few months, the North Carolina legislature has wrestled with this issue. With Republicans controlling both chambers, the abortion bill passed both chambers and was sent to the Governor. Despite his veto of the bill, the Republican legislature quickly overrode his veto, and the bill became law.
