Final Project – Personal Development Plan
For your final project, you have an exciting opportunity to apply what you’ve learned throughout this course in your own personal development plan. Why a personal development plan? Personal development expert Jim Rohn (2018) says, “When you look at successful people, you will almost always discover a plan behind their success. It is the foundation for success.” In other words, it is not effective to figure out how to reach your goals without a plan. You should view this personal development plan as the map you will need to reach your academic and professional goals.
This final project provides an opportunity to create a detailed plan for your academic and career-focused goals. In this personal development plan, you will include professional and academic SMART goals, reflect on the impact of mindfulness and motivation on achieving your goals, and reflect on the last five weeks in this course. You will upload this final project in your Folio, and it will be included as part of your earned points when it is graded in Waypoint. Remember, you learned how to upload documents into Folio in Week 2 Starter Kit and Learning Strategies and Tools quiz. Pay attention to the Folio instructions below and the grading rubric.
