Students will have a conversation with an individual from another generation and submit a summary of their conversation.
1. Sit down with someone from another generation and ask these questions:
a. What was life like in your home? School? Early work experiences?
b. What is the earliest memorable regional/world event you recall? i. What do you recall about how you responded? How did your parents/guardians react? Teachers/mentors?
c. What would you define as the most pivotal event of your generation? i. What do you recall about how you responded? How did your parents/guardians react? Teachers/mentors?
d. Feel free to include any additional questions or ask about other stories unique to their generation and life experience.
2. Write up a summary of the conversation with reflections on what you learned and are taking away.
