Week 2 – Assignment: Investigate Best Practices Used in Recruitment

Imagine that you are the human resource director for a large technology firm.  Over the last 12 months, the executive team has noticed that recruiting qualified candidates has become an ever-increasing problem. To help correct the issue, the organization decided to revamp its recruiting strategies. You have been tasked with informing the hiring managers of the new strategies.

Create a technical report, in the form of an interoffice memo, explaining your organization’s revamped recruitment plan/strategies. The purpose of this report is to justify the changes while explaining the advantages of this new plan. 

There are many different styles of interoffice memos, but be sure your memo provides an overview of your company’s previous plan while highlighting how the new recruitment plan is more enhanced.  Please break your report up into different sections that represent the various phases of your plan. Refer to your Weekly Resources for an example of an interoffice memo.

Length: 2-3 pages, not including title or reference pages

References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly references.

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards.
