Immersion experience Part 1 (Part 2 Due Unit 6)
Please reference Unit 6 for more information regarding the PDP. The Rough Draft consists of the following:
- Beginning of semester personal assessment comfort/knowledge
- Group for immersion identified
- Explain reasons for selecting this population
- 4 goals for increasing knowledge of multicultural competency with this population
- List plan for cultural immersion experience related to selected group
- List plan for engaging with media related to the selected group
- General development of personal multicultural competency
- Discuss other populations that you considered and reasons why you were considering immersing yourself with this population.
- List 5 general goals for the ongoing multicultural competence that you can engage in after this class has ended/throughout your career
- Under each goal list an action plan for how the goal will be accomplished
