Look for something problematic. how to evaluate sources and find highly credible ones. look for a highly biased news source. Look at word choice, editing, etc. You can use opinion pieces. Controversial and divisive political commentators work well for this assignment. In other words, find a “bad” source that you would likely not use in a research paper.
Some items are off-limits because they make the assignment too difficult. I want you to avoid satire news because that is next level when it comes to analysis. Satire news includes posts from The Onion as well as comedy news like The Daily Show.
