Persuasive Letter
Imagine that you are a Hindu citizen living in South Asia. As you have learned in class, the Ganges River is important to Hindu traditions, but it is heavily polluted. Write a letter to the current Prime Minister persuading him to consider investing in cleaning the Ganges River for citizens. Include statistics about the harmful effects of the pollution in the Ganges as well as the sources causing pollution in the river. Be sure to address the Prime Minister of India as we have learned in class. The letter should include at least three realistic methods for mass clean up of the river.
