Unit III PowerPoint Presentation
Students will create a PowerPoint on state politics with no less than 10 content slides.
Using the U.S. state of your choice, create a PowerPoint presentation identifying the state’s election and campaign processes, summarizing party politics and influences in the state, and identifying key political leadership positions at the local and state levels. Identify how state and local elected offices interact and are intertwined with the broader U.S. federal system.
Some ideas for additional details to include about your chosen state:
· types of primaries utilized,
· apportioning and districting information,
· gerrymandering, and
· important party or government issues.
Please do not copy and paste lists of senators and representatives into your slides. Use your creativity and organize the material in a logical, engaging, and understandable manner.
The PowerPoint should be a minimum of 10 slides in length, excluding the title and reference slides. Incorporate images, photos, charts, and graphics to support your information. Use bullet points rather than long paragraphs of text on your slides.
Use APA Style to properly cite graphics and paraphrased or quoted material. You must use at least three academic or government sources (excluding graphics) to support your presentation. Utilize the CSU Online Library for at least one of your sources.
