Prompt Post the first of your two textual artifacts (movies, TV shows, games, websites, songs, stories, readings, books) as follows: Post an appropriate link or attachment, so that the rest of the class can see what you’ve chosen, how does analysis that shows the relationships between your found artifacts and one or more stories from the grimm brother stories. Be sure to include quotations and page numbers from your source (if it’s the kind of thing that has page numbers) and story or stories. Show how your textual artifact supports, challenges, updates, relates to, or corresponds with the fairy tale, or specific fairy tale aspects, conventions, character types, plots, symbols, or more. Then, evaluate this artifact and its relationship with our course readings, discussions, themes, and ideas. As you’re used to, whenever possible use specific examples and direct quotations from source materials. In addition, post a short (2-3 minutes or so) video. In the video, you can introduce the artifact, just to be sure that your peers and I understand what you’re discussing, and then let us know how you felt about it, not just the analytical aspects addressed in the writing.
