Your assignment is to select a quotation from one of your readings, introduce the quotation’s original author, article title, and date, then explain its significance, provide context for its original use, and how it adds to your understanding of Baroque art. The reading for this assignment is “Baroque 1620-1800: Style in the Age of Magnificence” by John E. Moore, published in the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians in December 2010.
