Company D would like to perform some quality control in analyzing its current IT architecture to determine how to improve its operational efficiency. A task has been assigned to the IT software engineering team to review and test its IT business operations at various levels such as programming, applications, database, and data flow. A report must be given to senior management that outlines areas of its IT architecture that require an upgrade versus other areas that allow the organization to maintain critical operations of its network. The objectives of this report are to help management determine how much to invest in its IT operations to enhance its technical capabilities and improve the company’s marketing performance in delivering services to its customers. Remember, quality control is the process of ensuring that the quality or amount of a product is preserved or improved.
