my leadership philosophy is summarized by a quote by Maya Angeleno: Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” My career goals are very indecisive right now I know I want to continue serving in the army after graduation/commissionih but after commissioning I will mostly go with the flow and see what else I want to do because I am still very young at only 23 years old. I think for retention we need to have better quality of life and treatment for junior soldiers and soldiers just coming in to the units. New soldiers use social media and if we treat them bad we are hurting our retention. Discipline is different for everyone but there is a thin line between been abrasive and harrasing vs. respecting authority and ensuring those under you abide by all rules. My career goals right now it to commission as a 2LT and make it to CPT
