Magical Realism Essay
South and Central America are famous for their literary genre, Magical Realism. We have read two short stories written by Gabriel Marquez that exemplify Magical Realism, A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings and The Handsomest Drowned Man. Additionally, we have studied how Disney used the genre of Magical Realism in its creation of the 2021 film, Encanto.
You will write a 2 page paper in MLA. format that answers ONE of the following prompts:

Your paper should be in MLA format and should contain at least six direct quotations from the short stories (you may want to do three from A Very Old Man and three from The Handsomest Drowned Man)
