Tips on How to Format a Good Research Paper

A research paper contains the following elements:

  1. Title page — features a title, student's name, educational establishment, and publication date.
  2. Abstract — a summary, brief (up to 250 words) and not obligatory. (Optional)
  3. Table of Content —  Optional if you have a lot of supporting materials.
  4. Introduction — background information that leads to the thesis statement. In the introduction you can explain the choice of your topic, state your approach, express a theory or suggestion, make a strong thesis statement. This part implies covering the purpose and the main idea of your paper. Additionally, you have to provide the contextual information on the topic for the readers to have a good grasp on the matter. Note that effective introduction should attract the attention of a reader, so think of a story, current event, or statistics that pertain to the topic. Moreover, if the research that you are carrying out is rather complicated or involves using many terms, add them to your outline too. That will help you to understand the basic concepts of the topic. Do not forget that the introduction should close with the thesis statement, which is 1-2 sentences in length.
  5. Body — consists of several parts: materials, methods, results, discussion, and the conclusion. This is the largest part of your paper, and therefore, it has to be split into several subtopics. Each subtopic has to be introduced as a separate paragraph with the main idea and at least two arguments, examples, or explanations supporting this idea. Mind that one paragraph should smoothly go over to the next one so that there is an inextricable link between these subtopics. Also, every thought or idea introduced further should not contradict the previously stated one.
  6. Conclusion — restate the thesis, proving that your study is important and relevant, and mission has been accomplished. It usually takes half of page or so and aims to give a brief summary of the subject in question, particularly the direction of your research. Here, you have to indicate the research method and theoretical approach you used. You will have to mention why you have chosen this topic and how significant or interesting it is.
  7. Bibliography — list of cited works, which includes both literature quoted directly and paraphrased sources.
  8. Additional Referenced Materials — tables, charts, figures, terminology, photos, plans, construction documentation etc. Aside from reference list, you might need to add notes and appendices. The purpose of notes, which are divided into footnotes and endnotes, is to add important or interesting yet not directly relevant information on the matter. Appendices, on the other hand, provide more detailed information on the topic, which would distract a reader’s attention if mentioned in the body of the text.

· Moreover, it indicates a community’s commitment to growing its infrastructure by continuously modernizing and upgrading it to make it competitive through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Body Paragraph 1

· SoFi stadium indicates America's commitment to developing the best sporting infrastructure and investing in sports tourism. The Hollywood neighborhood is renowned for being the home of entertainment due to the focus on celebrities and the entertainment focus it receives.

· The neighborhood plays host to the best film studios and has been characterized by the production of several thousand entertainment pieces per year. The strategic focus that sporting facilities around the world have received has led to their uplifting from playing the host role for a single game to include several others.

· Increasing the purpose of stadia makes them adequate for modern requirements (Tepp 4,5,6).

· Including an ultra-modern facility at the location adds to the area's overall attractiveness to outsiders including non-entertainment reasons (Robertson & Nyaupane 795).

· Sports tourism is a growing niche in which developed economies understand its value. For example, the Middle Eastern countries were among the first to diversify their economy by rapidly involving sports and entertainment. The region has realized that it cannot entirely depend on oil and that creativity offers credible chances for community development. SoFi Stadium places California and Hollywood at the helm of American entertainment.

· Moreover, the United States is priming to host the 2026 men's soccer World Cup, requiring intense modernization of all existing sporting facilities.

· SoFi Stadium has won the Stadium of the year award from StadiumDB Jury Award and Steel Winner in Tekla's North America BIM Awards. The facility has demonstrated the effective use of steel to enhance its attractiveness and aesthetic value by making it visible from afar. Hollywood Park has been developed from the race track that previously became the main attraction to a multipurpose facility that leaves visitors in awe.

Conclusion

· The screens hanging above the roof of the SoFi Stadium have been lit a few times to emphasize the facility’s modernity and ability to include the latest technology.

· The stadium’s interior is a remarkable piece of architecture, ambiance, complexity, and civil works. The creative minds that collaborated to develop the stadium have set the standards higher for future stadium development projects where owners seek to compel community users. Hollywood is a different place considering the number of visitors who can access the place to attend events at the stadium.

· The recent WrestleMania and Super Bowl games held at the facility demonstrate its usefulness as an outstanding facility. The repurposing of the SoFi Stadium to meet multiple entertainment objectives makes the facility robust and sound.

· Moreover, the multi-disciplinary approach to its development illustrates how far the imaginative experience of designers, financiers, and workers has come to deliver the best social amenities. Global stadia should emulate SoFi to retain the standards and revolutionize sporting facilities.
