Drawing on the information acquired about your client's company and customer base, analyze the target market utilizing Target Marketing Segmentation (Demographic, Psychographic, Geographic, and Behavioral Segmentation). Address the following questions about your Client you interviewed:
- Who is the company's target demographic?
- What age group, gender, and income level characterize the primary audience for your company's product/service?
- What is the company's psychographic segment?
- What lifestyle, values, interests, or personality traits define the attitudes and behaviors of the company's ideal customer?
- What is the company's target geographic segment?
- Is it local, regional, national, or international? Specify the cities, regions, or countries the company focuses on for sales and marketing efforts.
- What is the company's target behavioral segment?
- What specific behaviors or buying habits define the company's ideal customer?
Use the Client Interview to answer these questions. Seek to use at least 2 references to help support your arguments, if the client does not have clear answers to any of these questions yet. Reply to at least two classmates by adding to their findings, identifying which points of their target market description you agree with and which ones you believe need adjustments. This will be important for your Team Project next week. Defend your reasoning by using at least one external reference for each reply.
Your initial discussion post (250-300 words) is due by Thursday night at 11:59 PM, with two response posts (100-150 words) to classmates' posts due by Sunday at 11:59 PM.
