Application of IECMH Principles and Practices
Two IECMH activities, learning opportunities, or strategies for their work. This could be an activity or practice we learned about last quarter (trauma class), a mini “training” with a colleague, or a presentation to staff. You might make a change in your classroom, read a special story, introduce a yoga practice or other mindfulness activity, or a space (or add to one) for children to have some private time. These do not all have to be major changeswe are just trying to intentionally apply some new IECMH practices and strategies in your workspace.
summary of exactly what you did, why you did it, and what resources you needed to make it happen. Include pictures, if appropriate (of a space, artifact, book, etc.) Include how the idea was received.
Include the following:
Did the children like it? Did the adults ask questions? What was the reaction from colleagues?
Did the idea turn out the way you planned? What changes might you want to make? (not everything works out the way we think or hope it will).
