After reviewing current materials and resources, create a pre-assessment that you will use to collect data for use in planning and designing the CDLP. A pre-assessment can be anticipation guide, knowledge rating, etc. The purpose is to gather baseline data of students’ knowledge of the content. This information will inform lesson planning.
Once the pre-assessment is created, ask the cooperating teacher to give the pre-assessment and share the product with you for your analysis.
Analysis:
Using the results of the pre-assessment, explain information gained, determine needs (all levels) to be addressed and the most effective approaches to instruction for grouping or projects.
