You are asked to thoroughly analyze your own program and develop a plan to become an antibias program. If you are not working in a program, use a program you have some information or contact with.
Chapter 6 and 8 of Derman-Sparks, LeeKennan, & Nimmo will assist you in developing and documenting your plan.
You will add the following steps to your plan:
Step 3: Develop curriculum
Develop a plan to explore at least 3 ABE goals/topics.
Goals/topic should address gaps in the current anti-bias curriculum program.
Your three goals should be explored using a variety of different curriculum ideas, such as
a story or book,
plan and facilitate a video discussion with the children,
plan a major activity
a change to the program environment
Please submit your Anti-Bias Curriculum Plan Activity, Part 3. You must include all components of Part 1 and Part 2 in your submission.
