Your last assignment is an oral presentation ( 12-15 minutes in length) of your research project. You will video record your presentation and upload it to Canvas. To assist in the oral presentation, please prepare a PowerPoint. The first slide should include the title of your final paper and your name. It is optional if you want to include the next slide with the Thesis Statement/Introduction (You can choose to discuss your topic without a slide). Organize the PowerPoint the same way you organized the final paper by using the Level One Headings: Background, Analysis, Recommendations, Social Implications (positive and negative), and Conclusion. Use bullet points for the subheadings or the specific points you want to emphasize. Include pictures. There is no required number of slides. You can use one or more slides for each heading. The last slide(s) should include the references. The presentation should include the following elements: An introduction to the main issues of your research project; the thesis and primary points of the central argument; and your conclusions in the form of a summary analysis or course of action.
